EHS Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Publicize and implement local national safety production laws, regulations and standards related to engineering construction and company internal management regulations

2. Review the qualifications, insurance and other safety information of relevant personnels of the subcontracting unit

3. Organize entry safety education, training and safety technology briefing

4.Independently carry out hidden danger inspections at construction sites, promptly correct and urge rectification of violations

5.Prepare emergency plans and organize emergency drills

6. Be responsible for incident investigation and handling, writing incident investigation reports, and organizing incident rectification

7. Complete other tasks assigned by leaders

Professional and Educational Level

College educational level in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

Professional certificate or skill level

With valid Kazakhstan EHS related certification as required by law.

Work experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Safety Officer/Officer in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the energy sector (wind power experience is a significant advantage).

Professional skill

Deep understanding of construction safety, electrical safety (HV/LV), mechanical safety, lifting operations (cranes), working at height (turbine erection), and fire safety.
